VERA, ON THE VERGE, (Rated R), is artist Bethann Shannon’s newest character…she evolved out of a series of unfortunate circumstances and just plain CRAPPY stuff life sometimes dishes out!

Vera is on the verge!

She is sick & tired of bull s–t from life and people! She is at a place in her life where she is questioning everything…even GOD, is he real? Or just a figment of many peoples imagination!? She really, really wants to believe in him…but has many doubts coming up for her.

 Vera is also losing faith in the human race….often you’ll hear her saying ”I HATE EVERYBODY!”.

She asks “What happened to the “human” and “kind” in “HUMANKIND”?

Vulnerable and tough at the same time…Vera will no doubt speak her mind.

Vera will express a lot of the anger, frustration, doubt & despair many of us feel at times!

She can be bitter, impatient, furious, irate, sarcastic, depressed, intolerant, despaired, worried, lonely, sassy  and just downright bitchy!

Yet, on the other hand, she tries to be compassionate & understand life & people.

Vera, at her worst,  has entertained thoughts of suicide & murder (in very comical ways!)…but VERA, would NEVER really do either! At her best Vera has renounced all worldly possessions and joined Bono, Madonna, Brad, Angelina and Bill Gates on a mission to save the world!

 Vera is morbidly humorous! STAY TUNED!
